I love the softness of this. I think that, in this case, your watermark could be better used maybe in the flower, because it's very easy to crop out where it is. Also, it's very sharp, I would have lowered the opacity a little (medium lot) bit, picked a purpley color, gaussian blurred it, and skewed it so that I could fit it in a petal better. There's one in the upper right corner that I think would be good for that.
What I do is think of the mark as part of the art itself, and not something put in there as an afterthought. You want it to fit in, be hard to crop out, and be unobtrusive all at the same time without detracting from the art. It's like walking on a wire that's -3 inches in diameter.

Yeah that's a good idea, I'm going to have to mess around a little bit with my watermark. You were right it was a little sharp, I softened it a bit but I still have to mess around and make it better. I like the idea of putting it IN the flower.
